Praise hands

2 Cor 13:14 (NIV) May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

3 Gifts:

Eternal Life

Rom 6:23 (NIV) For the wages (penalty) of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Holy Spirit

Acts 1:4-5 (NIV) “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

Spiritual Gifts

1 Cor 12:1 (NIV) Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.

Rom 12:6 (NIV) We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.—We—meaning all of us

A Spiritual Gift Is A Supernatural Ability Given To All Christians To Do God’s Work On Earth

1 Pet 4:10 (NLT) God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.

What Are Some Of The Spiritual Gifts?

Rom 12:6-8 (NLT) In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. {7} If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. {8} If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.

  • Prophesy

1 Cor 14:3 says it should be for strengthening, encouraging, and comfort—it is not be discouragement, correction or rebuke—

1 Cor 14:3 (NIV) But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.

Mercy (kindness)

1 Cor 12:7-11 (NLT) A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. {8} To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. {9} The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. {10} He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said. {11} It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.

  • Wisdom and knowledge

  • Faith and healing and miracles

  • Prophesy

  • Tongues and interpretation

1 Cor 14:1 (NIV) Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts.

Ephesians 4:167 (NLT) [Christ] makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
