Praise hands

Matthew 6:21 NIV For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

1.     God is the owner of it all.

Psalm 24:1 NIV The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.

2.   We are entrusted to steward what is HIS.

1 Corinthians 4:1-2 NET One should think about us this way—as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

NIV “This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed.”

Matthew 25:14 NIV  14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. 18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.”

21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

3.     The Size of the stewardship will be dependent on the faithfulness of the person.

1 Corinthians 4:2 NIV- Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.

Luke 16:10- 13 NIV “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. 11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? 12 And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own? 13 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

1.     SAVE DILIGENTLY

Proverbs 21:20 NLT The wise have wealth and luxury, but fools spend whatever they get.

2.     SPEND WISELY

Luke 14:28 NIV “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?

3.     GIVE GENEROUSLY

Generosity honors GOD- 2 Corinthians 9:13

Generosity draws us closer to GOD- Matthew 6:21

Generosity demonstrates faith- Philemon 1:6
